Margaret and I made a last minute escape from the drudgery of the working week by taking Thursday/Friday off and booking into the Glen Clova Hotel. We stayed low as Margaret is having hip problems at the moment. Not much of a story to tell, but I thought I’d share some photos.

The corrie was a cauldron of wind blown snow. I cursed leaving my goggles at home

Yeah, I know it’s all blurry, 30sec exposure in high wind is not a good idea.

Sheltered between the trees, snow fell slowly like in a snow globe. Mesmerising.

You WILL feed the chaffinches in the car park!

Entombed in ice, David Blaine-like

Friday saw a mix of driving snow and blue skies, it was warm when the wind dropped.
