…correctly exposed images I’ve made recently. Struggling with Velvia’s contrast. I’ve got some Porta in the fridge, time to see what that’s like…

Film I assume?. Wow is the response. I do envy your skill with a camera.
Lovely! You really do have a recognizable style with this sort of image. Regarding Velvia, I used to have the same sort of problem with contrast and found Provia to be much better. I never really developed the skills to get the best out of negative film though.
Thanks all. I’m not particularly taken with this shot compositionally, but though it worth sharing anyway.
I think part of the problem is that I’m torn between my new SLR and my Mamiya film camera at the moment. So I’m not really focussing on making the best image possible. Time to start leaving one, or the other at home I think. I’m still discovering the best lighting to make the most of Velvia too.
We’ll be heading to Harris/Lewis again this year, so hopefully I’ll have plenty of time up there to use both cameras to their full potential..
I like it…I’m also envious!
This is an amazing picture!
I’d say that’s exposed spot on man!
Love the contrast and saturation.
