A trip to Loch Leven dawn goosewatch the other day resulted in a few decent shots, but this one was easily my favourite.

Lovely. Loch Leven is just down the road from me so the geese are over in their thousands from time to time….but I’ve never done the dawn exodus. Did you manage to see them all departing at the same time?
Yes, multiple times. They left and returned repeatedly! 😀 Eventually, breakfast was required, so we left them where they were. I highly recommend visiting for it though, we were led by the staff at Vane Farm, but I believe the hides are open 24hrs.
Magnifique ! J’adore
Great the way the wings just fade into the sky, really nice,
Gosh, that’s a stunner. Beautiful.
I can see why you like it so much… It’s a perfect picture! The light, the swan… beautiful!
That is beautifully composed, and I love the colors of the sky.
Great Shot!! A beautiful (hoppers?) swan in shot against a pales sky….I can imagine this wall size instantly.
Beautiful, excellent capture!
Thanks all! 🙂
