I like the colors of the sky and grass together. It seems kind of strange that the buildings are all the same, copied over and over. 🙂
The site is ex-military, hence the lack of imagination 😉
I’m always amazed at the way you photographers over there aren’t afraid to include a lot of space in your photos (over here people would be saying “Get rid of most of that sky”!). But if space is an important element in the landscape, why not? I also find the shape of the mountains on the left very interesting. We have mountains like that in the Catskills as well as in the Whites of NH. If I’m not mistaken, I think the Caledonian Range does run underground to our continent…? Well, in any case, this is one beautiful image. Thank you for sharing.
I think you hit the nail on the head, regarding space. The site was a munitions depot in years gone by, hence the spacing of the buildings (each was surrounded by an earth bank, which have been flattened now)
I believe the Caledonian range does run under the Atlantic into North America.
Thanks for your comment!
